Annie Mist Thorisdottir of Reykjavik Iceland is a CrossFit Athlete. She is also the owner of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it as well. Annie is the only female who has ever won in the CrossFit Games two times. She placed second in the CrossFit Games in 2010 and in 2014. Annie Thorisdottir is a Icelanders CrossFit athlete weightlifter as well as a media star. The first female winner of in the CrossFit Games in 2011, and 2012, twice. In 2013, and in 2017 she was the winner of the Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie was born and raised in Reykjavik, Iceland along with her parents and siblings. Since a young age, Annie was an avid sports fan and loved doing exercises. Many medals were awarded to her at school events. She participated for the first time in 2009, in the CrossFit Games in California, where she did extremely well. Annie Thorisdottir is, as of 2021, is 31 years old. She's 5'7 and weighs in the neighborhood of 67 kg. Annie began CrossFit classes in California at the age of 2009. She was able to perform well during the first few matches. She finished amongst top 10 of over 70. While she did not win any of the titles however she was able to finish in the 11th spot. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Coach Jami Tikannen coached her to a second place finish at the CrossFit Games, and a medal that was silver at the time of the year. Due to her outstanding performance, she managed to win the CrossFit Games title and become the first female CrossFit Games winner. Annie has an impressive 2012. CrossFit Games performance, became the first female to be crowned the winner of the two CrossFit Games. In addition, in 2014 she was awarded a silver medal as well as in 2021, she was awarded the bronze medal at CrossFit Games. Annie currently coaches and trains Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was founded by Annie. As she has gained more recognition as an athlete Annie has been a face for a number of brands in sports, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Nuun Hydration-Periodization Sidekick, Yerbae and many other brands.
