Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy was born in the year 1962. She is an American actress. She made her acting debut as an actress on Bad Boys in 1983. Since then, she has performed in WarGames from 1985. She also appeared in The Breakfast Club in 1986 and Short Circuit in 1986. Sheedy earned the Independent Spirit Award Best Female Leading for her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy has been an American actor and author for over 20 years. She began her acting career with the crime film Bad Boys at the beginning of the 1980s. The film was directed by Rick Rosenthal, other well-known actors such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck also appeared. The film's first big success was the catalyst for her to make an appearance in The Breakfast Club, a comedy-drama in 1985. John Hughes directed one of the most memorable films made for high school students. The film cost only $1,000,000 but it grossed over 50 million dollars. In the meantime the actress began appearing on TV in various shows such as CBS Schoolbreak. It was her first appearance on television. The show targeted teenagers and began airing in April of 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues were some other TV shows she appeared in. Her most recent appearances include Little Sister, a film that follows a super-hero, in which Sheedy plays a small cameo. Sheedy, for her incredible appearances, was awarded numerous prizes. Sheedy was awarded the MTV Movie Awards' silver Bucket of Excellence Award 2005.
