Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes, an American actor who is most well recognized for her role as Detective Stella Bonasera in the CBS detective procedural drama CSI: NY Dr. Sydney Hansen on the NBC drama series Providence and the role of Dr. Lane Hunter on the medical drama The Resident. The actress was also praised by her debut on television as Eleni Andros cooper on CBS's soap opera Guiding Light. Her most notable movies comprise 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. She is reportedly making a film adaptation of the writer's autobiography The Wheel of Life with Vlas and Charley Parlapanides the pair that wrote the film Immortals. She is also a producer for a new television show called Gods & Heroes.
